Shelter Proposals Ready for Goheen

This article from the February 6, 1962 issue of the Daily Princetonian discusses a preliminary report from The advisory committee on fallout shelters convened by Princeton President Goheen. This report outlined buildings across campus and at the Forrestal Research Center which could serve as possible fallout shelters. The report included costs for adapting the buildings as shelters, which would cost $120,000 and take 6 months to complete. They would hold 6050 people total.

The article discusses specific sites that have been identified as possible fallout shelters and what factors were taken into consideration in this identification.
