Abstract: The magnet power regulation system for the Princeton-Pennsylvania 19 c/s repetition rate 3 GeV Proton Synchrotron is described and analyzed. Rotating machinery is used for supplying the losses of the complex resonance system powering the magnets.

The magnet field variation is a dc biased sinewave having a minimum field of 250 gauss and a peak field of 13 800 gauss. The fluctuations are controlled so as to be less than one gauss peak-peak.
