Bio/Description

Lillian Fitzgerald is from Mebane, North Carolina and is an enrolled member of the Klamath Tribe. She is a sophomore at Princeton majoring in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with an interest in pursuing an Indigenous Studies minor. Lillian’s focus is on environmental conservation efforts and how the intersection of indigeneity and the environment is an essential part of these efforts.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Lillian is an active member of Natives at Princeton and the Princeton Conservation Society. She is also a member of Princeton University Chapel Choir and is currently trying to reclaim her native language and her culture.
