Position Research Associate Role Choctaw Nation Title Anthropology, Environmental Studies, Indigenous Studies Email [email protected] Bio/Description Jessica is an enrolled citizen of the Choctaw Nation and a first-generation descendant of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. She graduated from Princeton in 2022 with a degree in Anthropology (Law, Politics, and Economics Track) and certificates in Environmental Science & Engineering and Technology & Society (Energy Track). Her academic work at Princeton focused on environmental contamination in Indian Country and its impacts on public and environmental health, Tribal policy, and relationships with the land. Jessica has been a team member of Nuclear Princeton since 2020, investigating nuclear legacies across Indian Country and contributing to many of Nuclear Princeton's research and education projects.
