Bio/Description

Alexander Glaser is a Princeton associate professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and in the School of Public and International Affairs. He is also co-director of the Program on Science and Global Security. His research focuses on nuclear power, especially fission and fusion, the nuclear fuel cycle/nonproliferation, and  neutronics calculations for new systems, especially looking at small modular reactors, safeguarding and verification, and energy policy. He co-authored the book Unmaking the Bomb (MIT Press, 2014). In 2014, Foreign Policy Magazine selected Glazer as one of the 100 Leading Global Thinkers of 2014 for Princeton's work on nuclear  warhead verification.
